Goodreads Summary:
Above a small hill lay a home.
And green men peer out under the dome.
Thirteen crisscrossing arches behold,
with angels singing must be told.
Cubes like teeth thus showed,
pierce one and the door shall glow.
Part the sea like Moses,
to see the bundle of red roses.
Only then you shall see,
what is destined to be free.
But beware, if you are not the heir,
for damnation you shall declare,
for the false burden you shall bare.

Goodreads Summary:
Salem, Massachusetts is the site of the infamous witch trials and the new home of Samantha Mather. Recently transplanted from New York City, Sam and her stepmother are not exactly welcomed with open arms. Sam is the descendant of Cotton Mather, one of the men responsible for those trials and almost immediately, she becomes the enemy of a group of girls who call themselves The Descendants. And guess who their ancestors were?

If dealing with that weren't enough, Sam also comes face to face with a real live (well technically dead) ghost. A handsome, angry ghost who wants Sam to stop touching his stuff. But soon Sam discovers she is at the center of a centuries old curse affecting anyone with ties to the trials. Sam must come to terms with the ghost and find a way to work with The Descendants to stop a deadly cycle that has been going on since the first accused witch was hanged. If any town should have learned its lesson, it's Salem. But history may be about to repeat itself.

Goodreads Summary:

Jasmine de los Santos has always done what’s expected of her. Pretty and popular, she’s studied hard, made her Filipino immigrant parents proud and is ready to reap the rewards in the form of a full college scholarship.

And then everything shatters. A national scholar award invitation compels her parents to reveal the truth: their visas expired years ago. Her entire family is illegal. That means no scholarships, maybe no college at all and the very real threat of deportation.

For the first time, Jasmine rebels, trying all those teen things she never had time for in the past. Even as she’s trying to make sense of her new world, it’s turned upside down by Royce Blakely, the charming son of a high-ranking congressman. Jasmine no longer has any idea where—or if—she fits into the American Dream. All she knows is that she’s not giving up. Because when the rules you lived by no longer apply, the only thing to do is make up your own.

"Amazing. Unique. Beautiful. Sexy. LEVI'S BLUE by M. Leighton is ALL THAT and MORE!" ~~ Shayna Renee's Spicy Reads
Levi’s Blue
Four beautiful days. Three steamy nights. One breathtaking love.
Levi Michaelson.
He wanted four dates. Four opportunities to prove I could trust him. Four chances to change my mind about him.
I agreed.
Probably not my smartest decision. He was everything I knew to avoid—gorgeous, charming, sexy as hell—but I couldn’t help myself. When he touched me the whole world disappeared. I should’ve known I could lose myself to him, that he could be the one man to destroy me.
I guess it’s true what they say—some things are too good to be true. And Levi Michaelson might just be one of them.

#LevisBlue #Unzipped #Sept19 #NewRelease #ComingSoon #MLeighton

My Review:
Get ready everyone because M. Leighton has done it again. Levi's Blue is s spectacular read. It will leave you with all the right feels! Evie used to have a normal life. Then one night her whole life was changed. She was hit by a car and nothing will be the same. She is an artist and at her art showing she meets a man. This man is Levi Mchaelson. Levis seems like a pretty normal guy. He works in shipping and came to Evie's rescue when she needed someone. Evie s very hesitant however, love has not went well for her in the past. She has issues since the accident that prohibit someone from getting to close. It usually ends in heartbreak for her so she has learned to guard herself to keep her heart safe. Levi is a suborn man and will not give up. He has found what he wants. Will Evie give in to Levi's wants?

Levi has known love and along with that tragedy. His past is not all rainbows and unicorns. The way he woo's Evie is, simply put, romantic. He requests 4 dates to sweep her off her feet. He learns enough about her to make some pretty spectacular dates for her. Unfortunately, there is always something looming under the surface. Jealous ex's and secrets. Secrets that will destroy more then just them. If Evie ever found out the kind of person Levi used to be she may not give him a chance. The budding relationship between these to is not insta love but, a slow burn. A smoldering that just gets hotter and hotter. They definitely fit in more way then one. The kid of trust that Evie has to have with Levi is insane. I can not imagine how hard that would be for someone.

Evie also has a great friend. A friend that is always there for her. Especially since the accident. Her family has disowned her and basically left her to fend for herself. I would hope we all have a friend like that.

This was a great book. I read it very quickly. I couldn't put it down. The relationship between Evie and Levi was so passionate. So real. You need to get get his book ASAP!

ARC Review of A Damaged Wedding by H.M. Ward

Goodreads Summery:
The wedding day finally arrives, but when the groom, Peter Ferro Granz, shows up in a torn tux and covered in blood, he calls it off. There's no explanation in his haunted eyes, and the beautiful man leaves without another word.

Sidney isn't about to walk away without a fight. She can recover from a damaged wedding, but a life without Peter is unthinkable. As she pieces together the events of the night before, it becomes clear an old enemy has it out for Peter, and if Sidney steps in the way it could destroy them both.

My Review:
First of all I must say that I love this cover. It is beautiful. Finally!! We get a Ferro Wedding!!! It went exactly as I expected it would and also completely different. You can't have a Ferro wedding without a little bit of drama and action. Constance still drives me crazy, 50,000 for a dress. Good lord! However the happily ever after does not last long. As Peter shows up covered in blood.  Something is seriously wrong and Peter is acting more like a Ferro. For Sidney, she isn't really scared. She knows that something bigger is going on and she wants answers. Now. Will Sidney and Peter be able to work together to salvage their relationship or are they destined to be apart?

I have always loved Peter and Sidney. They seemed different then the rest of the Ferro clan. Although something always happens to draw them back to the dark side. Unfortunately Sid is in the dark for a lot of it. Something Peter should have remedied right away. These Ferro men need to give their women more credit. They know what they are getting into. Trust and include them and you'd be surprised how willing they are to help the men they love. Sidney and Peter get a little romance but, they are pretty busy trying to save their lives in this one. I still loved the little stolen moments between them.

You never really know what you have until you lose it. I feel this is exactly the case for Sid and Peter. they have a lot of work to do if they want to have their dream wedding. Which by the way, is not what Peter's mom would like. But, Sidney's version is absolutely perfect. Go get this one guys!

Goodreads Summary:
Amber Tate believes the worst thing she’ll suffer in life is dealing with the unrequited love she feels for her brother’s best friend, Rylen Fite. She also believes war is something unfortunate that happens places far, far away from her rural Nevada town. She’s wrong on both counts.

When an unknown organization meticulously bombs major cities in the United States and across the globe, a trickle-down effect spreads to remaining towns at an alarming speed—everything from food and water sources to technology and communications are compromised. Without leadership, the nation is split between paralysis and panic, but Amber isn’t one to hide or watch helplessly. She’s determined to put her nursing skills to use, despite the danger, even if it means working alongside the man she can never have.

In this first installment of NY Times bestselling author, Wendy Higgins’s debut New Adult series, a frighteningly realistic apocalyptic America is brought to life, entwined with searing romantic tension that will leave you eager for more.

Goodreads Summary:
When Sky’s parents moved from San Francisco to Boulder City in Nevada, she thought her life was over, until she met the Hudson boys. Two years older than her, tattooed bad boy Nate was confident, cocky, good looking, and a straight talker. He was the unattainable guy that all the girls wanted, but the one their fathers warned them to steer clear of. Josh had all of his brother’s looks, but he was the sweet charmer your mother would beg you to marry. Their cousin Billy lacked the brothers’ good looks, so relied on his quick wit to attract the girls.

When all three of them set their sights on Sky, they became competitive, and cracks in their close bond began to form.

Torn between her loyalty to all three, and feelings for one, Sky was faced with a dilemma.

When she made her decision, she had no idea that her choice would set them all on a path that would tear the group apart.

Torn is an Amazon erotic romance, and adult fiction, international bestseller. It's a standalone new adult erotic romance novel, which is heavy on the angst. A box of tissues is likely to be required.

Goodreads Summary:
Destiny’s world is anything but ordinary, only she doesn’t know it yet. Some of her memories are missing, and the handsome and intriguing Nataniel whose attention she has caught is more than just a bartender.

After she suffers a fatal accident, Destiny is turned into a vampire by none the other than the sexy, arrogant, and infuriating famous supermodel Enrique, who expects her to be at his beck and call. Forced to abandon her dreams and plans, she has to learn to feed on humans and navigate the supernatural world. As if that isn’t hard enough, she and Nataniel find themselves on opposing sides.

But when a party goes wrong, Destiny wakes up surrounded by corpses with no idea as to how that happened, and Enrique refuses to help. Her only hope to find and stop the killer before more people die lies with Nataniel… if she’s willing to risk trusting him.

My Review:
Holy cow does stuff go down for real in this one! Volume 22 is packed full of action, suspense, and one hell of a surprise! The group has a plan. A plan to get out of the mess they are in and have the lives they are yearning for. This plan isn't without risk. There is serious danger in their way before they are home free. Avery has to put herself in the middle of the lions den and things do not go according to plan. I can't say I'm surprised. I don't think anything in Avery's life has went according to plan. They all seem to take one step forward and two steps back. Will everyone survive what is coming or will betrayal win in the end?

Avery and Sean. What is there left to say about these two. They are still perfect for each other in their own messed up ways. Despite everything that has happened they still find time to be together. Even if it is a fleeting kiss. Their lives are about to change. In more ways then when and I am not sure they are ready for it yet. That is if they survive there current predicament.

I am so excited about this series. Each and every installment just keeps getting better and better. The cliffhanger is so huge...I don't know how I am going to wait for the next one!! I hope it comes out quickly!

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

Goodreads Summary:
Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, a new play by Jack Thorne, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is the eighth story in the Harry Potter series and the first official Harry Potter story to be presented on stage. The play will receive its world premiere in London’s West End on July 30, 2016.

It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children.

While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.

My Review:
I have to start out by saying that I love Harry Potter. I was so excited to hear about this book. The play format it was written in actually didn't bother me at all. Which was very surprising. I was really worried it wouldn't read right. It read perfectly and I could still picture it in my head as if I was reading a book. We are 19 years in the future in the world of Harry Potter. His son is the main character of this one. Albus is struggling being the son of the famous Harry Potter. It is hard for him to make friends. He feels alone. He never asked for this legacy. His only friend comes in the most unlikely person. Scorpius Malfoy. These two are about to go on the adventure of a lifetime.

I loved this book. I know I am a fan but, seriously. I flew through it. We get to see Harry, Ron, and Hermione too. I didn't realize how much I missed that world until I got to join it once again. So much happens in this story. So many twists and turns and best of all...magic. Of course for the Potters things don't go according to plan. Albus and Scorpius are in trouble and need help. This means Draco Malfoy plays a huge role in this book. I was worried about this but, turns out I really enjoyed him. It was very interesting to see Harry and Draco interact. It added a lot to the story.

I may be biased but, I love that we got to back into the world of Harry Potter. I would have loved to see this live on stage. The book sucked me in and I couldn't put it down. Honestly I wish we would get more stories in this series. If you were on the fence about reading this then I hope my review pushes you into reading it. You will not be sorry.

Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard

Goodreads Summary:
If there’s one thing Mare Barrow knows, it’s that she’s different.

Mare Barrow’s blood is red—the color of common folk—but her Silver ability, the power to control lightning, has turned her into a weapon that the royal court tries to control.

The crown calls her an impossibility, a fake, but as she makes her escape from Maven, the prince—the friend—who betrayed her, Mare uncovers something startling: she is not the only one of her kind.

Pursued by Maven, now a vindictive king, Mare sets out to find and recruit other Red-and-Silver fighters to join in the struggle against her oppressors.

But Mare finds herself on a deadly path, at risk of becoming exactly the kind of monster she is trying to defeat.

Will she shatter under the weight of the lives that are the cost of rebellion? Or have treachery and betrayal hardened her forever?

The electrifying next installment in the Red Queen series escalates the struggle between the growing rebel army and the blood-segregated world they’ve always known—and pits Mare against the darkness that has grown in her soul.

My Review:
This book picked up right where the first one left off. I was very excited for this one. It did suffer from second book syndrome a little bit. Mare has so much going on around her, within her, and because of her. She has so much pressure coming from every angle. I am not sure how she holds it together as long as she does. She has very little time for anything other then trying to fight for the Reds. Maven is hot on her trail and he will not give up until he has her. He is willing to do so many horrible things to get her back. Killing is only one of them. Will Mare be the savior everyone thinks she is or has she changed into someone she no longer knows?

I feel so bad for Mare. She is on a journey that is turning her into someone she hardly recognizes. War will do that to a person. It changes you in ways you never thought possible. She and her group of rebels are on a mission to find the other people like her. They are scattered across the country and with Maven hunting them it is a race against time. These people have unbelievable powers. They are a huge asset to the Red army. It is not without risk. Their lives are at stake with every rescue attempt. They will not save everyone. Death is following Mare. Will she be able to get the ranks she needs?

There is very little time for romance. I of course am still pulling for our renegade silver prince. They have some interesting moments however they have some seriously tense moments too. Its so hot and cold that I got whiplash. They needed each other to survive this. To be honest I am surprised they survived what they did.

This book ends on quite the cliffhanger and I am desperate to see where it will go from here. I have to wait a bit but, I will be getting the next book.

Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard

Goodreads Summary:
This is a world divided by blood – red or silver.

The Reds are commoners, ruled by a Silver elite in possession of god-like superpowers. And to Mare Barrow, a seventeen-year-old Red girl from the poverty-stricken Stilts, it seems like nothing will ever change.

That is, until she finds herself working in the Silver Palace. Here, surrounded by the people she hates the most, Mare discovers that, despite her red blood, she possesses a deadly power of her own. One that threatens to destroy the balance of power.

Fearful of Mare’s potential, the Silvers hide her in plain view, declaring her a long-lost Silver princess, now engaged to a Silver prince. Despite knowing that one misstep would mean her death, Mare works silently to help the Red Guard, a militant resistance group, and bring down the Silver regime.

But this is a world of betrayal and lies, and Mare has entered a dangerous dance – Reds against Silvers, prince against prince, and Mare against her own heart.

My Review:
I am so mad that I waited so long to finally pick up this series. I was worried the hype was to big and it wouldn't be as good as I built it up to be in my mind. Boy was I wrong. I read this book in a couple days. I have been in a huge book slump and this brought me out of it! Mare is a strong leading lady. She doesn't have the a simple life but, none of the Reds do. They are the outcasts in their society. The workers and the soldiers. The Silvers are the ones who run the world. They have special abilities and bleed silver. There has always been a divide. Mare is destined to be sent to the war when she is given a job with the royals. When an accident happens that proves Mare to be different from all the other Reds, the world is thrown off balance. Her power could change things forever. So the Royals make her a Silver. To hide her. To hide her power. Mare enters a world of lies, deceit, and betrayal. Is she built for this or is she destined to die?

There is a war brewing. Not the one currently being fought either. If the Reds find out about Mare, there will be civil unrest. There is serious hatred between these groups. Mare isn't used to be around Silvers or pretending to be Silver. The cruelty, lying, and manipulation is not something she is used to. Mare learns the cold hard truth pretty fast. Trust no one.

Oh, the love triangles. Red Queen has one and its substantial. In the Red corner we have Kilorn. Mare's childhood friend. Someone she knows and trusts. When she is thrust into the Silver world however he is not there. She is left with Maven and Cal. The two princes. Although not always obvious, there is a weird feeling around these three. Cal is engaged to someone else and is therefor forbidden. You know what they say about forbidden men! I know who I am voting for that's for sure. There really isn't a lot of time for romance anyway.

I immediately go the second book in the series and am almost done with it. I am so glad I caught up with it. It's been a great series so far and I can't wait to see what happens!

COVER REVEAL!! Infinity by Jus Accardo

infinity cover reveal

Let us know what you think of the cover for Infinity (The Infinity Division, #1) by Jus Accardo!

Infinity releases on November 1, 2016

This cover reveal & giveaway is brought to you by Entangled TEEN and YA Interrobang!

A Note from the Author:

So… The cover of Infinity… I have 9+ books with Entangled Publishing, and they’ve always blown me away when it comes to their covers. But this bad boy? I love it so hard—for so many reasons. Infinity is a story of possibilities. Of hope. To me, Hope is something so simple—yet incredibly potent. When I first saw the cover, I thought, this is perfection. Simple, yet powerful. To me, it was meaningful. Almost exactly a month before Infinity sold, my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Treatment was rough, and very, very long, but she is currently cancer free and doing well. I remember one of her nurses had a tattoo. An intricate infinity symbol done almost like the staff of Asclepius. Underneath, it said, "Infinite hope." It became our thing. Infinite hope. We’d joke about finding the infinity symbol in everyday objects. Like Kori, the main character in the book, just seeing that symbol lifted our spirits. It gave us hope. I like to think that this was the Universe's round about way of telling us to keep on fighting. I’m so excited to share this book with you guys!

And Now Without Further Ado...

About Infinity:

Jump dimensions. Save the world. Don’t fall in love. Nobody said being the daughter of an army general was easy. But when her dad sends a teenage subordinate to babysit her while he’s away? That's taking it a step too far. Cade, as beautiful as he is deadly, watches Kori with more than just interest. He looks at her like he knows her very soul. And when he saves her from a seemingly random attack, well, that’s when things get weird. Turns out, Kori's dad isn’t just an army general—he’s the head of a secret government project that has invented a way to travel between parallel dimensions. Dimensions where there are infinite Koris, infinite Cades…and apparently, on every other Earth, they’re madly in love. Falling for a soldier is the last thing on Kori’s mind. Especially when she finds herself in a deadly crossfire, and someone from another Earth is hell-bent on revenge…

738 Days by Stacey Kade

Goodreads Summary:
At fifteen, Amanda Grace was abducted on her way home from school. 738 days later, she escaped. Her 20/20 interview is what everyone remembers—Amanda describing the room where she was kept, the torn poster of TV heartthrob Chase Henry on the wall. It reminded her of home and gave her the strength to keep fighting.

Now, years later, Amanda is struggling to live normally. Her friends have gone on to college, while she battles PTSD. She’s not getting any better, and she fears that if something doesn’t change soon she never will.

Six years ago, Chase Henry defied astronomical odds, won a coveted role on a new TV show, and was elevated to super-stardom. With it, came drugs, alcohol, arrests, and crazy spending sprees. Now he's sober and a Hollywood pariah, washed up at twenty-four.

To revamp his image, Chase’s publicist comes up with a plan: surprise Amanda Grace with the chance to meet her hero, followed by a visit to the set of Chase’s new movie. The meeting is a disaster, but out of mutual desperation, Amanda and Chase strike a deal. What starts as a simple arrangement, though, rapidly becomes more complicated when they realize they need each other in more ways than one. But when the past resurfaces in a new threat, will they stand together or fall apart?

My Review:
Amanda Grace went through one of the most terrifying things a person can go through. Being abducted at fifteen and chained to the floor for 738 days. I can't even imagine. What kept her going through all that? Chase Henry. Well not the real him but, a poster of him that she hallucinated to be real. The hallucination is what got her rescued. A year later she is doing better but, is still damaged. The man who abducted her has left her a fearful girl who is still afraid to live her life. She has some pretty severe PTSD and I can understand why. She is stronger then she thinks but, it's going to take something substantial to make her understand that. What she doesn't expect is for the real Chase Henry to show up at her job. What Chase doesn't expect is that meeting with Amanda is going to go horribly wrong. Can these two figure out how to be around each other and both benefit from it?

I will warn you. There is some serious subject matter in this book. Amanda is abused by her abductor in more ways then one. She has to overcome some serious traumas that happened to her. A lot of this book involves her having issues with her PTSD.

Amanda is not an easy person to get to know. Chase has a lot to learn. Especially surprising her when he used to be an hallucination. Probably not the best idea. However, he might be the one person who can help her. The one to get her out of her shell and to be less afraid. I don't think a person who has went through what she did will ever be ok. Chase however, can help her live a more normal life. She already trusts him in some weird way due to the hallucinations but, this is not her Chase. He is different. At the very least they should get a friendship out of this or will something deeper develop between these two.

I really enjoyed this book. Even though it was more on the serious side. It is about a girl who has an immense about of strength to get through something terrible. It is a story about living life to the fullest even when things look bleak. You definitely need to give this on a read.

Goodreads Summary (OMG!):
Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, a new play by Jack Thorne, is the first official Harry Potter story to be presented on stage. It will receive its world premiere in London’s West End on 30th July 2016

It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband, and father of three school-age children.

While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes darkness comes from unexpected places.
