Question of the week
Change the Plot. If you could, what book would you change the ending or a plot thread? Go ahead and do it...change it.
I have to go with the first book that came to my mind when I read this question. ALLEGIANT by Veronica Roth!!! OMG, this ending made me so angry and sad. I give the author props for doing it but, it didn't seem necessary for the story. I don't want to spoil the book for people who have yet to read it. If you have read it you know EXACTLY what I am talking about. That specific character would live. That is all I am going to say.
Good pick! I haven't read this one yet, but I heard it is an emotional read.

Once again I feel so behind because I have yet to finish this book series, but I like spoilers and am not the most fond of surprises. So I really need to finish this so I can see how I feel.

I totally get what you're talking about. This book was just emotionally scarring.

SO many people are giving this exact answer this week. I had a feeling as as soon as I saw the prompt. :) I haven't finished the series (but have been spoiled. ugh.) but am anxious to read it to see how I feel about it.

Hopping through. I'm in the minority that loved the ending. It was sad but I thought it was a great way to be different from other series.

So agree with you on this one!

I almost chose this as well. But I didn't because I couldn't convey my frustration in words ;-)
