This Week's Question
Your house is burning down and you have time to select three books you own to take with you. What three books? - Suggested by Alison Can Read

This is an insanely hard question! I would have to say my signed copies of the entire Shatter Me series.  I loved that series and what are the odds I'd get signed copies of all three!? I have other signed books too. In all honestly I'd probably grab a bag and throw as many in as I can or chuck them out the window for later haha!

It was supposed to be easy.

One month…that’s all I need him for. All I have to do is stay out of his bed. But the rules slowly begin to change. My fake fiancĂ© suddenly becomes my fake husband. When Chase offers me an indecent proposal, it's too late to fire him. It's too late to decline.

My Review:
Laurie is a strong woman. She would like nothing more then to make it on her own. She is a woman who knows what she wants from her life but, in order to get her inheritance she needs one thing....a fiance! Should be easy right? She is a college graduate but, hasn't been able to get a job yet. I think this hits home with a lot of people right now. What is a girl to do when she needs a quick fiancee. Well, hire an actor of course. One that is convincing. Chase is a gorgeous guy who is eager to help. What could possibly go wrong?

I liked Chase immediately. Laurie laid out the "engagement" pretty well and he agreed. The whole thing was pretty weird. I can't imagine interviewing someone to play your loving fiance when they are a complete stranger! That would be interesting. Although picking a hot actor would make it easier! It would have been fun to see Jude do it but, I'm not sure he could pull it off. Chase has a great personality to. Despite all Laurie's rules and regulations he makes it more personal. More real. I was completely thrown for him falling for her rather then the other way around. Laurie, like any woman, is not rock hard. Chase slowly starts to chisel away at her and she begins to like his flirting. Walls begin to crumble.

Like any good arrangement, it is built on little lies and omissions. When working with strangers you better be ready for anything. Although Laurie is at fault herself for not being honest. So many underlying stories and mysteries!! I am left with questions that will hopefully be answered in the next book!!

My Review:
"Creating a world of love and passion, a hint of danger and broken rules, the characters are eccentric, fun, and loving. A captivating story that I could not stop reading."

I was lucky enough to get an to take part in the blog tour for this book. In a few words, I loved it! I really liked Jenna as a character. She could have been my sister. She has a normal life and is trying to get the job of her dreams. Life then throws her a loop when she is out with her friend and sees a gorgeous stranger. He makes her all tingly in the right places. She is confused by this because she is dating someone. She ends up running into this guy numerous times and they become “lunch buddies”.  They talk about everything, including their jobs. When she finds out that mystery man Max is the boss’s son things get really fun. Max uses his name to get her to the fashion show she wants to work. Things with Max heat up pretty quick. Will a relationship with the boss’s son be a good thing? Will it be good for her job? Can she get over his playboy past?
Jenna has a lot of fun traits.  I love the she is allergic to alcohol. It leads to a pretty hot situation. I thought it was unique and not something I have heard of before.  Her friend Becky is awesome! I wish I had a friend like that. She is snarky and fun and gives great advice to Jenna.  Jenna worries a lot about leaving her safety zone. Which is why she is dating Luke. Will Max pull her from her safety zone and give her something fiery, full of love, and lust?
I loved  Max! He was super sexy and had just the right amount of mystery to him. He wasn’t afraid to love her even though she was an employee. He knew just how to push Jenna’s buttons, all of them. He also shows a lot of restraint and doesn’t want to push her. I thought their relationship was great. There was series sexual tension between them.  Luke was different. I felt like their relationship was kind of cold, almost like it was easy so they just kept doing it.
This was an awesome debut New Adult Novel for M. Clarke. I loved every bit of it. I would highly recommend this one!
