There's Wild Then There's You by M. Leighton

Goodreads Summary:
He’s someone she can’t trust…

She’s someone he thinks he knows…

Violet Wilson is a wallflower. Shy, serious, and accident-prone, she’s got a bad habit of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The night she’s forced to pose with her friend might just be the worst time of all—that’s when she meets Jet Blevins. She knows better than to get involved with someone like him, but he touches her in ways she never expected, never wanted before.

On the outside, Jet is a typical rocker, an arrogant lead guitarist who unapologetically lives a wild lifestyle. But on the inside, he’s battling demons and using the stage to escape the troubles of his past and the addictions of his present. Until the night he sees Violet standing at the back of the room. She brings his life into focus. She knows his secrets. She’s the girl he can’t forget, and the one thing he craves more than his addiction.

But can they ever hope to have a future when their very foundation is nothing but lies?

My Review:
Jet is a wild rocker who lives on the edge. He likes his women and isn't sorry for it. On the outside he enjoys his life, loves it even but, on the inside...he's a mess. Violet is definitely a wallflower. She is a lonely girl who tries to fix everyone around her. This gets her into a little trouble one night while she is suppose to be at a sex addict meeting to support her best friend Tia. Who unfortunately doesn't show up. This leads to Violet pretending to be a sex addict. At this meeting she meets Jet and a relationship is born. Slowly at first. Like a small flame. But, it is built completely on lies! Can these two keep their secrets? What will happen if they come out?

Violet tries so hard to keep herself away from Jet. He does things to her. Makes her feel things she shouldn't. Especially with a recovering sex addict...right? Luckily for Violet she has a few distractions in her life. Her father who is an alcoholic and her best friend Tia who has cheated on her fiance numerous times. There are lots of people that require help and fixing. She is truly a social worker at heart. She is a good person. A good person who needs to come out of her shell and live her life for her!

Jet is the complete opposite. He lives his life as it happens. He has a past that he isn't to proud of. Violet is the light in the dark for him. She could make is life better. Not only that but, she is his muse. His creative juices are flowing. These two heat up quickly. They can't keep their hands off each other. But, secrets are bound to come out and Jet is not who he appears to be.

This was a fun quick read. This is one of my favorite series by M. Leighton and I highly recommend it! Go get your copy!
