ARC Review of Bang (Visions #2) By Lisa McMann

Goodreads Summary:
Jules should be happy. She saved a lot of people’s lives and she’s finally with Sawyer, pretty much the guy of her dreams. But the nightmare’s not over, because she somehow managed to pass the psycho vision stuff to Sawyer. Excellent.

Feeling responsible for what he’s going through and knowing that people’s lives are at stake, Jules is determined to help him figure it all out. But Sawyer’s vision is so awful he can barely describe it, much less make sense of it. All he can tell her is there’s a gun, and eleven ear-splitting shots. Bang.

Jules and Sawyer have to work out the details fast, because the visions are getting worse and that means only one thing: time is running out. But every clue they see takes them down the wrong path. If they can’t prevent the vision from happening, lives will be lost. And they may be among the casualties…

My Review:
Bang starts up not long after Crash ended. Jules is with Sawyer and her life should be good. She is healing from the snow plow accident. Sawyer is now having the visions that Jules had before. His is different though. I feel like Sawyer had a harder time with his visions than Jules did. Sawyer's vision is different. It's of a shooting. A brutal shooting with 11 shots. He has a hard time dealing with it while they are trying to figure out when and where the shooting takes place. Sawyer starts seeing the vision everywhere. Even in Jules eyes. He doesn't know ho much loner he can handle this or if he even wants to try to stop it. Will Jules and Sawyer be able to stop this terrible disaster? Or are they destined to perish?

Jules is a great character. She is so easy to relate to. Just your average girl who doesn't quite fit in. It takes quite a lot to make her angry or jealous as some pretty awful former friends figure out. My favorite part was her inner monologue about "sexy time". That was brilliant! I really loved it! Jules family is still a big part of this book. Trey is an amazing brother. He is supportive, loving, and willing to help Jules and Sawyer. Rowan is definitely more of a rule breaker then then her siblings. She was quite fun to read about as well. Jules Dad is still a loose cannon. He still holds a grudge against Sawyers family and things with him get kind of out of hand.

Sawyer and Jules are so cute together. They have been through a lot lately. Between Jules saving Sawyers life and risking her own and their family dysfunction, they are doing quite well. I'm surprised they haven't gone crazy. They are there for each other even with the barriers to their relationship. I have high hopes for these two. I kind of hope they live long enough to be happy.

This book was a great sequel. It didn't fall short like a lot of them out there. I enjoy the characters and after that ending I can't wait to see what is going to happen next! I honestly am not sure what will happen next. Should be fun to read about!
