Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Caffeinated Reviewer. It gives us bloggers a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received and to share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you have followed by blog for any length of time you know that I disappeared for about a year. I was stuck in a job that I was no longer enjoying. I have been in a new position and department now for about 6 months. I am so much happier and have way less stress. I finally feel like I am read to jump into my blogging again.

I have read some amazing books in the last few weeks and was aching to share my thoughts on these books. So here I am! My first full week back. I am so happy! Finally back to doing things that I love again. How was your week? Do anything fun? Ready anything good?

Saturday 10-26-18 Stacking the Shelves

Ruby's world has changed more than she ever could have imagined. She's in love with a powerful Frost King. She's the heir to the Fire Throne. And she may be a Nightblood--the spawn of a vengeful deity hellbent on releasing his wraithlike Minax from their prison. Once freed, these beasts will roam the earth, devouring every last person until he or she is nothing but an empty husk. But Ruby is able to control the Minax to a degree, and now she, her beloved Arcus, and her friend Kai must find a way to bring Frostbloods and Firebloods--sworn enemies--together to make a stand against a foe more deadly than any they've faced.

In this heart-pounding finale of Elly Blake's gorgeously written and action-packed Frostblood Saga, the fate of Frostbloods, Firebloods, and all of humanity is at stake.

  6. I understand the taking a break, or at least having a job you don't like. I am finally in a job that I love, one I can see staying until I retire, however long that is. I'm glad you've got a new job that are enjoying enough and can get back to book blogging. You've got some good reviews I need to go check out! I saw that Jaclyn and the Beanstalk and think I might be interested in it as well, I love a good fairy tale retelling. Thanks for visiting my Sunday Post on Lisa Loves Literature earlier!
