Question of the week
If you had a time machine (i.e. a TARDIS), where would you go?
I would love to go to the 1940s-1950's. For some reason I just love the clothes from that time period. Poodle skirts and all that fun stuff. I guess I just feel like it was so classy and women looked great! Not to say we don't now I just really don't like where fashion is going these days. I'm not a size 2 so everything looks like a sack and is shapeless. I love movies from that time period too. Just something about the culture. It's so different then it is now, it would just be really interesting to see. Maybe not stay forever but, get to see what it was like!

I totally agree about the time period and the clothes! I think partially the reason might have been that everyone had their clothes tailored to their figure, which must make a difference from having to squeeze yourself into the shops' idea of how women look! Thanks for sharing :) Hope you have a great weekend!

Loving that dress! Great choice! I went with the 1920s, though I wouldn't mind visiting a few different decades.

ReplyDeleteThat's really beautiful dress! My grandparents were young on fifties so they always tell me stories and show dresses and other clothes from that era.

When dress is concerned I'd like to go back in time to the Victorian era.
