The Fault in Our Stars Movie Review

Book Summary via Goodreads:
Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel's story is about to be completely rewritten.

Movie Review:
I have never done a movie review before. I feel the need to do one for this movie. I don't know why, I am just feeling compelled to do it. This book was amazing and I loved it. So full of a passionate love story with teenagers. A love that a lot of adults don't think is possible. Seeing it on the big screen just intensified the emotions. So basically I was a mess. I cried for literally the last 30 minutes of the movie. Next to The Hunger Games it was the best book to movie adaptation I have ever seen. The actors did such an amazing job portraying these characters. It was so true to the book. I saw it days ago and am still thinking about it. That has always been the way to tell if a movie was good. If you are still thinking about it for days later. I even saw a tear slip from my husbands eye! I know! It is my favorite movie of the year so far. I will be buying it. If you haven't seen it you really should. It was an amazing movie!

  1. I LOVED this movie as well. I'm posting my review tomorrow to let the whole world know how amazing it was! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I've seen it twice already and I'm seriously contemplating going back for a third.

  2. Wow! I was worried that the snarky lingo of the characters in-book would sound awkward coming from an actor on screen; I'm glad they were able to adapt so well! I can't wait to see this now!
