Question of the Week
Characters, sometimes our favorites, die during books. If you'd get to choose, who would you bring back? - Suggested by Howling for Books
I have three series that jump to mind instantly! I apologize of these are spoilers. Mine include characters from Divergent (I did not name the character, I just couldn't), The Fault in Our Stars, and Harry Potter so if you don't want to know then don't read on!
1. Augustus Waters from The Fault in Our Stars (Yup, scarred for life from this one)
2. Dumbledore, Sirius Black, Lily and James Potter, Fred Weasley, Remus Lupin, Nymphadora Tonks, and Severus Snape from Harry Potter.
3. If you have read Divergent you know who I am talking about that died! I really don't want to spoil it for anyone so I won't say it. This death blew my mind and I was so mad! Like threw the book mad. If you read till the end of book 3 you know! It was a main character! Sorry I am still mad about this one.
I haven't read Divergent yet, but not sure I will. And yes, ALL the HP characters.
ReplyDeleteA lot of people were mad over Allegiant. I found I wasn't mad, just upset. It was sad but I couldn't bring myself to throw the book! LOL! I don't think I've ever done that, not even with the crappy books from my school years! And there were a LOT of those!
ReplyDeletePretty much every Harry Potter character made my list too!

For that reason, I'm debating whether to read the Divergent series or not because I have all the books.

Great picks. I was mad at Allegiant for reasons unrelated to the death. I was sobbing through it though. I got what she was trying to do, it just didn't come across and it felt a little senseless.

The Fault in our Stars and Allegiant are definitely on my list of "oh my God, how could the author do that to me?!!" !
