My Review:
Oh, Jett how I have missed you. I must say I am sad to see this series end. It has been amazing! The Lover's Surrender does not disappoint. I could not put this book down once I started it. Brooke and Jett have been through a lot and I mean A LOT! Their relationship will be tested and trust will be questioned. What they didn't realize was that their issues were just getting started and they were to be tested even more. The inability to trust can lead to some serious problems. These two will need to get passed it all in order to survive. They must lean on each other. Will they be able to?

Don't get me wrong, I love Jett. He is forever the brute who needs a woman to tame him a little. We do get to learn a little more about him and what goes on inside that mind of his. I loved that. I really enjoyed his parts of the book. The major problems we see are stemmed from trust issues. They are clearly dealing with their own issues. Despite all the betrayal, lies, and trust issues they find strength from each other. There are beautiful moments too. Some that are just lovely and some that are super steamy. Just how I like it! Love mixed with steam and intrigue, doesn't get better then that! It's important to know that things are not black and white. There is always the gray in the middle.

I am sad to see this series end. I really enjoyed the book. I got a lot of answers I have been dying for! I was worried for quite a while about how it was going to end. Brooke and Jett's story has been one that I have loved over the years. Now is the time to pick it up if you haven't! You won't be sorry.

My Review

I have to start by saying holy crap, the prologue of this book was about as gripping as any I have ever read. I was so drawn into this story right away. It really makes you wonder what happened to Katie to make her who she is now. She is the shadow of a woman she used to be. That night changed her so much that her life is never the same again. Despite this she still knows what she wants and isn't willing to waste time on a lost cause. This is pretty much how she feels about Kiefer when she meets him. The actor/MMA fighter who is greek god hot and could get with any female he wants. there is more then meets the eye with Kiefer though. Secrets have their way of coming out however. Will Katie come out of her shell and accept happiness? 

I loved Katie's friend Mona. She was such a great secondary character. She was funny and truly a great friend to Katie. I felt like she was the outgoing side that Katie longed for. They were two peas in a pod! 

I loved Katie and Kiefer. Their relationship was like a slow boil. Started out kind of warm but, eventually was scalding. This is the kind of story I truly love. The kind that takes time to really realize your feelings before lusting and jumping into bed. Kiefter had so much patience. He truly wooed Katie and it was so lovely to read about. She was broken and he gained her trust and was willing to take the time to do it. Katie doesn't willing give her trust away. She is a very closed off person when it comes to emotions.  I felt like they go to know each other and were finally able to share their pasts which is not easy. There were some pretty hot moments between them too. 

I felt like this was a great follow up to the first book. It was tied into the original story line well. This is a story of two people with broken pasts who build on each other's strength to survive. It was a romantic read but, also had action! I would highly recommend it!

My Review:

Leary does not start out as your typical lawyer. She doesn't have desinger clothes or the most confidence. That is until she gets a job with the Knight & Payne law firm. After that, everything changes. Leary is now a confident and very well dressed lawyer. As she was taught, she uses all of the assets God gave her to win cases. The case she is currently working on hits very close to home. A woman who has to strip for a living to afford to care for her autistic son. Jenna had a breast augmentation to help with her job but, it went horribly wrong and has left her disfigured and without a job. Leary is prepared to do what it takes to win this case. Her biggest obstacle is Reeve. The opposing lawyer who is as equally seductive and dark as her. Has Leary met her match in Reeve? Will she be able to get justice for Jenna?

I loved Leary. She turned into a strong and confident woman. Despite her upbringing, which was heartbreaking. The way her and Reeve meet in the elevator was awesome! I loved it. These two had chemistry from the moment they met each other. It was destined that these two would have dirty hot nights together and can I just say...wow! You might turn into a puddle of hotness while reading this book because it is that hot. Things are not normal for them though. They are fighting against each other in court. There are more then just ethical issues at play. These two start off as friends with benefits but, the line starts blurring as feelings come into play. Would you risk your license for the one you love?

I loved how this book had the dynamic of the court case. It played so well into the story and their relationship. It made things way less black and white for them. To no be able to talk about anytihng would be incredibly difficult. Especially when the Doctor going against Jenna was such a dick. He deserved to lose everything but, with the law things are not always as easy as they seem. I was drawn into the court case instantly. 

This is a great read. Be sure to pick up your copy!!

My Review:

Volume 2 brings to light how Sean started to have the "needs" that he has in The Arrangement series. It is so interesting to be getting such a great view of Sean. Why he became who he is. Paige pushes Sean to the absolute limit, a limit he didn't want to break. She did it. Sean is not very happy about this. Not even a little bit. Let's just say that he get's to repay Paige for what she did to him. You think you know what I am talking about but, you have no idea. Will Paige get what she needs from Sean? Will she be able to help him?

Paige has issues. She has needs that need to be met or she is simply not satisfied. She has some serious issues. The trial is completely int he background of this story. It is there but, not really the focus at all. It is just...white noise really. These two have a very weird kind of chemistry but, it seems to work well for them.

I am loving this series. You guys will go crazy for volume 3!

My Review:
Hello Sean Ferro! This my friends opens your eyes to how Sean became the man he is. This one starts at the court hearing for Sean's wife Amanda and his unborn child's murder. Where Sean is on trial for the murder. It is told by the lawyer trying to put Sean away, Paige. Paige has demons of her own. She has needs that I can only assume they are similar to Sean's darker side. I am not 100% sure yet from volume one. I can not wait to see where this story is going to go. 

Paige seems like a good person who has just had a rough past. She lost her family and has never been the same since. She likes her job but, as she now realizes after actually doing it for so long she can't help the world. She can't fix it. She has accepted what she does and that she is not a high powered attorney. Her private life though...I need to know where that part is going. She has some very interesting tastes and I can't wait! 

Paige and Sean's story is going to be very interesting. It is going places I am super excited to see. Bring on volume 2!!

My Review:
I have waited a long time to read this book. I am trying to conquer my TBR pile and started with this one immediately. This book kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I loved Cassie's character. The struggles she has are real. The heartache she has felt is real. If alien's took over the planet I think it would be a lot like this. Different waves until everyone on Earth is dead. Well, almost everyone. Cassie has lost everyone and everything. She is living in the woods in a tent searching for her brother who was taken by soldiers. At least she thought they were soldiers. That's the thing about The Other's. They have made life impossible. She can't trust anyone and feels completely alone in this. This book jumps back and forth between different POV's of different people in different places. Will Cassie find her brother? Will she even make it that far with the Silencers out there searching for the remaining humans? 

Evan was a great character to add in. Cassie has never really had a boyfriend. She has a boy she really liked but, after the plague she assumed he was dead. Evan is her savior. He rescued her. Should she trust this strange new guy? Can you really even trust anyone out there? Cassie doesn't really have a choice. Without him she will die. Without him she will never get her brother back. There is some romance between them but, when an alien apocalypse is happening there isn't much time for romance. Evan has a secret however. A very big secret that changes everything.

Nugget and Zombie's parts of the story were very fun to read as well. So much happening around the world that they don't know about. They were on the brink of a huge secret. One that would cause this war to tip in a different direction. 

I really liked this book and will be buying the second one immediately. I am a big fan of alien books and this one was perfect. I can't wait to see what happens from here!

My Thoughts:
This is a great cover and I love the the premise of the story!
