My Review:

Something Wonderful starts right where Something Great left off. We get more then Jenna and Max's point of view in this one, we also get Mathew and Becky's. It starts off with quite a sad prologue! I cried during Mathew's. So sad. I can't imagine going through that. After Jenna's accident she seems a little different. More forward, living her life to the fullest if you will. Her and Max clearly love each other a lot. Max takes good care of her afterwards too. These two are more perfect for each other then they even realize. Things are going great until Jenna finds out about a secret that Max is keeping from her. Something that makes her question how much she can trust Max. Is Max and Jenna's relationship doomed? Can Jenna forgive and forget Max's past?

I actually liked Mathew and Becky's story more then I thought I would. I was so obsessed by Jenna and Max before but, now I am hoping Mathew and Becky get their own story too! There was so much tension between them. Some sexual and some just tension. Mathew had a hard time getting over Tessa and for good reason. He loved her and she was taken from him. Becky also lost a friend and Jenna's accident brings it back to the forefront. These two find comfort in each other but, also someone to talk to about everything. They are healing each other from terrible heartache and they don't even know it! These two are also a huge support system for Max and Jenna. Especially when things get a little messy. 

The romance between all involved is...well...HOT! I mean Max and Jenna are all over each other. New couples always are. Jenna is still worried about being inexperienced compared to Max but, he doesn't seem to mind. When we get inside Max's head we get to see how he feels about Jenna and it's all love and romance. Mathew and Becky are a little more wild. They are at that, it's hot and I need it now stage. I can't decide which couple I like better. I think it is equal love for both!

I am really looking forward to the next book in the series. Especially, with what happened in the Epilogue! I mean wow, drop a bomb and end it. I am really curious to see how it is going to go from here!

My Thoughts
I read the prequel, Proxy, and am very interested in where this is going. It was a unique story that led to a lot of questions that need answers. I hope we get some in Avalon.

My Review:
Prepare yourselves for this one because it is sizzling hot! McKayla has just finished law school and is freshly dumped. She is looking for some fun. Her friend helps her take a leap on the wild side. She joins a sex club and gets ready for her first date. She is very nervous about this. Then she sees the most beautiful man shes ever seen and bonus he is looking and walking right towards her. This leads to a wild night of unbridled passion. Seriously...toe curling. The next day McKayla is to start a new job...which she is late for. Her life is about to get turned upside down. What will McKayla do?

Matt is McKayla's new boss. He is kind of a hard ass and for good reason. Mac isn't sure what to do. Let it go and do her job or have an affair with him!! I know which one I vote for. Matt seems like a voracious man with a healthy sexual appetite. The tension between these two is palpable. Their romance is super hot. I'm not sure these two will survive each other! Since this is a serial series we are left with a lot of questions. Will Mac's heart survive Matt? 

I loved this volume. Seriously. Sawyer Bennett has out done herself and in a very short amount of words. I can not wait to see where this is going to go. Bring on the next one! I need it!

My Review:
Incubus has turned out to be rather interesting. Kyle and her father have had an interesting life as of late. Him taking a new job after her mother died. Her father is a cop and is investigating a case that unfortunately has more then one victim and they are dying in a very peculiar way. Kyle is trying to live a normal life. She has some pretty bizarre dreams though. Dreams that leave her screaming out and upset. What could be more shocking? Perhaps running into the man who is in her dreams? He sits in the restaurant that Kyle works in and orders the same thing every day but, doesn't talk to her. Things are going normal for Kyle until one day she kisses a boy and something strange happens. Who is behind these murders in town? What is going on with Kyle? Who is the strange man she can't seem to get away from?

Kyle is in the beginning stage of a romance in episode 1. Colter is an interesting boy who has had a rough past. It is this past that brings them together. Kyle is forced to hide Colter in her room when her dad gets home and things get a little hot. However, that changes in pretty quickly. Something happens to Colter that Kyle can't explain. It scares her and his reaction is even more weird. 

After a brutal attack, Kyle wakes up in the hospital with none other then her mystery man. Something is different about him, she can tell. Things are about to change for Kyle. I have a feeling her whole life is about to be turned upside down. I can't wait for the next installment! My interest is peaked!! I want to know what is going to happen next!

My Review:
Proxy is the prequel to Avalon which releases later in 2014. We are introduced into Jeth and Lizzies life in the Shades thief group. It doesn't get to deep into the characters. Just enough to keep you curious. Are they human or aren't they? I still don't know. We get a glimpse into the Shades crew and what exactly they do. In a world we don't yet get to know there is a band of thieves who appear to be very good at their jobs. For a bunch of teenagers. Which makes me even more curious about the world they are living in. I love the sci-fi element. Will Jeth be able to keep his sister safe? She was a stowaway for their dangerous mission and things do not go according to plan. 

I really liked the sci-fi element in this one. Space ships, possibly aliens, different planets, and weird precious stones. They didn't get to in depth with the characters, like I said, but I can't wait to see what happens with them. The ship, Avalon, seems pretty interesting. Jeth refers to it as his freedom so I wonder if he is paying off a debt?? Lots of questions that need answers!!!

It was so quick I didn't see any kind of love/relationship blooming. Hopefully we get a little in Avalon! Needless to say I have very curious about this book and am anticipating Avalon's release!
